I have been working in the senior care industry since I was 17 years old. I started as a caregiver, worked my way up to a supervisor, and eventually became an administrator in senior care communities. I earned my bachelor’s degree in public health from California Baptist University in 2008 and am currently pursuing my master’s in speech-language pathology.
Beyond my career, I’m a proud parent to a high school senior and a four-year-old daughter. I also recently married an incredible person who brings me immense joy.
While senior health and advocacy have always been my passion, I’ve come to recognize a particularly vulnerable population within this field—LGBTQ+ seniors. I am deeply committed to advocating for policies, resources, and care environments that affirm and protect LGBTQ+ elders, ensuring they can age with dignity, respect, and the community they deserve.
