Mark Kinkle is an executive coach, organizational development leader, and policy advocate with experience helping people and organizations grow. His work has spanned human resources, leadership development, and organizational strategy, with a particular focus on helping leaders strengthen their political acumen and navigate complex environments while advancing human rights and equity.
Mark earned both his Bachelor’s degree in English and Master’s degree in Public Policy from George Mason University. He is a Georgetown trained ICF Certified Executive Coach. His advocacy work focuses on securing affordable housing, expanding healthcare access, defending employee rights, and championing protections for marginalized communities.
During the Biden-Harris Administration, Mark served as a Special Assistant within White House Presidential Personnel Office. In this role, he consulted with White House Human Resources to help them build the White House’s first Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) office, leveraging his experience in organizational development, HR, and inclusive leadership.
Closer to home, Mark has served as an advisor to the Washington, D.C., LGBTQIA+ Mayoral advisory board. In that role, he drew on his White House and executive-level experience to help develop stronger measures of success and expand programming and services for LGBTQIA+ residents across the District of Columbia.
Mark is the CEO of Kinkle Consulting Group, a consulting firm focused on strengthening Justice, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (JEDIA) leadership. Through coaching and consulting, he helps leaders become more thoughtful, effective, and confident in how they lead people, navigate organizational/political complexity, and create meaningful change.
Mark resides in Washington, D.C., where he lives with his husband of 10 years and their pets.
