The Richard Bass Legacy Circle honors the extraordinary life and vision of Richard Bass, a passionate advocate, community builder, and champion for LGBTQ+ people and others facing the challenges of aging and illness without adequate support.

Throughout his life, Richard believed that no one should have to navigate health challenges, aging, or isolation alone. His unwavering commitment to care, dignity, and inclusion touched countless lives and inspired meaningful change throughout the communities he served. 

Richard's experiences during the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s and 1990s shaped his lifelong dedication to supporting vulnerable individuals and strengthening community connections. In 2023, he founded Triangle Care Management, creating a trusted resource for LGBTQ+ and disabled individuals in need of expert care management and advocacy.

His work was rooted in a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves to be seen, supported, and cared for. Richard devoted himself to dismantling barriers such as ageism, isolation, and discrimination, helping people age with dignity, security, and a sense of belonging. Through his leadership and service, he fostered communities built on compassion, mutual support, and respect. 

Today, the Richard Bass Legacy Circle ensures that his vision lives on.
